Padworth is a well supported, friendly, socially active, local Masonic Lodge, founded in 1967 & whose home is the charming Aldermaston Parish Hall.

The history of the lodge & Freemasonry, and what they stand for, is a delightfully complex & hugely interesting subject that draws you in as you uncover more & more of its treasures.

From the very beginning of their association, we encourage our members to take part in the life of the Lodge.

What is Freemasonry?

What's it all about?

A Freemason is committed to bettering himself, his community, and the world. He is on a journey of self-discovery believing in something greater than himself, a journey in which he will be supported by other good men.

Become the best version of you. Answer the call. Begin the Journey.

We ensure that every member is respected as an individual with an exceptional part to play in the life of Padworth Lodge.

The process of becoming a Freemason with us begins with you contacting our Lodge Secretary who will arrange for you to informally meet up with a few of our members.

There you will have the opportunity to have your questions about Freemasonry answered & to discuss the procedures for joining.
